The top two floors of a beautiful building – only three stories in total – in Lugano.
Two discerning clients with refined taste who wanted to transform the interior spaces with a bespoke project tailored to them, featuring a bold and elegant character. Lovers of beauty and distinctive furnishings and objects: for SETA Mood, this project was a wonderful opportunity and challenge.
This renovation, in addition to reorganizing the interior spaces, also involved a new interior look that successfully captured three centuries of history: from 18th-century French style to contemporary design, passing through 19th-century English influences and the bursts of creativity from architects and Maisons that, between the 1930s and 1960s, characterized the new interior design of homes during that period—Mazega, Ico Parisi, Cartier, Gino Sarfatti, Hans Person, Romeo Rega, and others.
The current project reflects the needs of those who today do not require more rooms beyond the master suite, which has been conceived as a master bedroom, complete with an adjoining walk-in closet and a dedicated service area.
For this reason, today the spaces are completed with: an entrance into the main living room, a dining room and kitchen, a study, and a service area on the day floor, while on the night floor, in addition to the master bedroom, walk-in closet, and exclusive master service area, there is a private entrance, a living room, and another service area.
The unit is completed with a pantry on the day floor and a laundry room on the night floor, as well as built-in wardrobes that provide storage and closet spaces.
